Bhavi Barad is a development professional leading interventions for youth rights, agency, and leadership across the country with Pravah. She is currently one of the six UN India - YuWaah Youth Advocate (2022-24) for Youth rights and Gender equality. Prior to Pravah, Bhavi has worked as a programme coordinator and an Organization Development fellow at Sauhard, Ahmedabad (Youth led non-profit organisation) to build empowering conducive spaces for young people to lead social action. She pursued her M.A. In Development from Azim Premji University post serving three years as a core member at Sauhard. She has also been honoured with Sauhard Youth Fellowship, 360plus Youth Collective Junior Fellowship, Changemakers' fellowship by Pravah, Ashoka Youth Venturer and Saanstha Organization Development Fellowship across the span of 4 years (2015-2019).
